About
Roo's Farm has been producing and growing since 2015. We moved from western MA to Perkinsville, VT in 2022 and are happy to be serving our new community.
As stewards of this precious Vermont farm land, we seek to regenerate the land through the integration of animals, plants, and trees. We are constantly developing our understanding of these ecological systems while adapting to environmental factors.

Mission
To grow food, we must grow soil. To grow soil, we must help the things that grow soil, which means never using pesticides, herbicides or fungicides that can kill crucial soil bio-organisms and endanger pollinators and disrupt the eco-system.

We seek to understand and support the integration of everything on the land.... such as "We don't have a slug problem, we have a lack-of-poultry-that-eat-slugs problem. " Outputs are inputs. Our weeds teach us about the soil. We use no-dig, no-till, deep mulching and low watering methods of growing vegetables. We improve pasture through the rotation of a variety of animals.
Our Vision
We seek to grow, to learn to grow, to help to grow.
